I was four months pregnant with my middle child before my menses stopped. The doctor wouldn't believe that I was pregnant until they took a sonogram. So even though it's rare it does happen. You could still pass an egg from the other ovary. There have even been stories of women who are pregnant getting pregnant again when another egg is released from the other ovary. It's very rare but it can happen.

If your april period wasn't a regular period, just a light one, then you could have conceived earlier than you thought.

Wait until you get a sonogram. Babies' heads grow very similarly the first 12 weeks. He or she should be able to tell, within a week, when your child was conceived. Then you can get a firm due date.

Lots of women still have a period after conception.
