do i have to take my last week of birth control..the ones I am suppose to take while im on my period...since they are just sugar pills?

You don't have to take them, they are just there to keep you in the habit of taking a pill at the same time each day. If you can remember to restart your active pills in time, then you don't have to worry about them.
