You can't find knowledge without having common sense so I'd say common sense is more important. However, some people use the idea of common sense as an excuse to be ignorant. Thus, both are equally important.

Definitely common sense. I've worked with many people who were very well educated, but didn't have the sense God gave a goose. It is a misconception that if you are knowledgeable, common sense comes with it. Book smart is not life smart. I've also known old men and women who did not have the good fortune to have an education. They worked hard all thier lives, and they were full of common sense and wisdom. I'll take that any day of the week.

While Einstein defined common sense as the prejudices laid down before age 18, it is still the case that basic common sense transcends knowledge. The latter can always be obtained ( through education, reading, googling or asking ) and true rationality ( what is usually called common sense ) is actually rare.
Also, knowledge is usually what others believe to be true and so is not better according to Einstein's criticism of common sense.

It is better to have common sense because that is how you become wise. It is better to be wise that have all the knowledge in the world if you don't know how to use it. Essentially your common sense is basic knowledge.

Common sense will tell you when to use each different kind of knowledge. (eg. technical knowledge or personal knowledge).
Therefore, Common sense is more important.
