Possibly for survival purposes. Less people eat raisins in comparison to grapes.

It's not that they want to become a raisin. It's that they can't avoid becoming a raisin. It's part of nature.

I used to this point a lady that i become plum loopy about, yet she became out to be an previous prune. My spouse might want to easily stomp on me if I cried bitter grapes. She hates it when I wine.

They dry up. Must have lost their spark for life. Sad but some grapes do do this.
