the Northbridge on my KV7 went bye bye this weekend, so I am currently on the wifes computer. What is the most up to date Abit board for the Socket A (Socket 462). I will take suggestion for another board that is within reason, Best awnser is the person who explains which Abit is the newest, or which other board to get, and Provides a link where to get this at.

Newest? You are talking about some really old stuff. You might be able to LIMP ALONG with this motherboard. I see that you are trying to use all of your old parts. Maybe this will work.

ABIT Socket A? I don't think they supprt the Socket A aanymore, but a good place to look would be ebay and they have tons of older hardware on sale!

If you need to buy a new board, you might as well do the upgrade to AM2, the CPUs are cheap, DDR2 is cheap, PCI-E cards are cheap, but you gain a hell of a performance.

they dont make up to date agp boards anymore really .. but im sure u can find a replacement on a place like newegg ..
