Rather than pregnancy, it sounds as though you're molly is developing dropsy. This isn't a disease itself, but a group of symptoms where the fish swells up and the scales stick out away from the body making your fish look like a pine cone. There are a number of causes, but the result is that the kidneys don't work so the fish can't get rid of excess fluid, so it gets bloated.

This can be difficult to treat, since you have to figure out what is the cause. Start with a larger than normal water change (around 50%) in case a toxin of some sort entered the water (someone may have sprayed something in the room, or if you fish might be reacting to some medication, plant fertilizer, algae chemical, poor water quality, etc. in the tank). Add an 1/8 teaspoon of Epsom salt (not reqular or aquarium salt!) per 10 gallons of tank water. If that doesn't help your fish in two days, treat for a bacterial infection. You should be able to find Maracyn 2 or Binox at a local pet store. Many sources will tell you this is usually fatal, and it certainly can be, but I've also treated it successfully a few times as well. It's all in starting treatment early and hoping the cause isn't a tumor or kidney failure that can't be treated.

Hope your fish pulls through for you.

The gestation period for this livebearer usually takes about 4 weeks, sometimes slightly longer.
