yes they are. but that is the point.
just make sure your boyfriend bolts it to the rafter. remember, it has to hold the weight of both of you. and, a 911 call would be embarrassing, and difficult, if you were handcuffed.

never had problem with the swings. when I was five though I fell off a merry go round at the local McDonalds. I guess I was unconscious for like 3 minutes, when I woke up my mom was telling me I wasnt allowed to go on the merri go round at Mc'D's or the drive ins anymore. I cried the rest of the way home.

I TOTALLY agree. My boys like me to swing with them, but after a few minutes I have to stop because I get sick. And yes, who hasn't been hit in the head by a flying swing! BAN THE SWINGS! Hehehehe...

The one in my bedroom may be a little tricky but, trust me, it's not dangerous and NEVER nauseating.

one time my aunt said that she swung so hard that she went totally 360 around the swing thing
.. hehe i dunno if she's exaggerating or not but it's pretty funny. and dangerous!!!
it's nauseating when you go a little high but it's still fun
i remember it took some of my elementary classmates a while to push by themselves so it is tricky :)

Tricky? You sit on them and kick your legs back and forth.
Dangerous? Only if you don't know how to use them correctly or you have idiots for friends.
Nauseating? If you have a VERY weak stomach, possibly.
