If you're not going to spell Phoebe right, don't use it. You're just making yourself -- and your kid by extension -- look stupid. Think about how that'll look on job applications. No one's going to want to hire someone who can't spell her own name.

I understand how some think misspelling a name somehow makes it more unique (it doesn't, but moving on ...), but you should be aware that this looks incredibly similar to "feebly," as in the adverb form of "feeble," indicating a lack of strength or mental ability. That's just not attractive at all. Phoebe, however, is lovely. Other suggestions along those lines might include Daphne, Penelope, Chloe, Zoe, Hermione, Calliope and Iris, depending on your taste.

Ps. Perhaps the Greek form Phoibe would appeal. Definitely different, but still a valid spelling, and it completely avoids the resemblance to "feebly." Just a thought! ;)

I am not sure on baby scene there are so many to choice from in such little time. my brothers, sisters, and my self got our names from unqite ways. which i am willing to share.
Mine was mom was at the beach swimming so she picked a name with the letter S. which is Samantha
My older sisters name which is Penny. mom was rolling up pennies at the time.
my younger sister name which is Sugar, mom was baking at the time.
My brother Albert got his name from the grocery store Albert sons where mom shoped. My other brother
Tyrone got his name from a mall that mom was shopping at.
Howard got his name because of the bridge that we were on at the time.

or there other opitions on picking a name. You can buy a baby names books. There more than one. They have a list of both boys and girls name and the list of the religion if you are into that as well. the on that i have 10,000 baby names.

or can name her after someone in the family
or can you use the death section in the newspaper and pick out names that way. It may bee creepy but you have a name. My step grandmother did this theory. or use other section of the newspaper.

Phoebe Jane is cute. It's hard to suggest other names without knowing your last name, but here are a few nice combinations:
Jenna Paige
Emma Fallon
Kristen Rose
Lauren Elyse
Molly Serena

My suggestion is to go to the Social Security website. You can look up the top 1000 baby names going several years back. This way you can pick a name that is not too common, or too unusual.
