I had a telephonic interview [through a referal] with a person from overseas for about half an hour., It went well. I didnt hear from them for about 9 days, so I called up the company's HR here, the guy said he had sent me a mail asking for additional details. As I hadnt received it, I said so, and he offered to forward it to me again., But its been two days now and there hasnt been a word or mail since then., Should I email him again? I am clueless as to whether I made it through and why the silence/delay in process.
Please help!! its a very good role with good opportunities and involves a lot of responsibilities, and I really look forward to it.,

When I called him he said he needs the info urgently and he would mail me the details, I dont understand why it is delayed if so.
I dont want to sound too desparate either.

Did you have him read back the address to which he was mailing? Might not have the right address.

EDIT: Great! I hope you land the job. Good luck to you.

Maybe he has the wrong address and that is why you didn't receive it. Call him up and confirm the mailing address. Ask him if he can email you a copy in addition to the hard copy.

Email him with your email and put a short note stating you wanted to make sure he had the correct email address. Reiterate that you look forward to speaking with him soon. If you didn't get the job, I'm sure he wouldn't go to that much trouble to cover it up.

You should call him to make sure he has the correct email address, then follow with an email giving him the opportunity to reply and send you the information.

Get an alternate email address. I use both Yahoo and Gmail (Google).

For something important I suggest they send to both addresses, just in case.

In your situation, tell them you were having problems with one service; would they mind sending again to the other address?

If they can send right away you will watch the inbox.

OK?

He probably has your email address wrong, if you send him an email then he can reply to it and you'll be sure to get the info. Be sure your spam blocker isn't blocking any attachments he might be sending you. Add his email to your address book.

Yes, I would follow up again. It is possible that the interviewer has typed your email address incorrectly. Definitely follow up again!

Did he have the right email address?

Assuming he did, it's coming from overseas? Check your spam filters. It may have gotten caught.

He isn't doing his job, look for something else with more responsible people.
