I've always liked Al Pacino's speech at the end of Scent of A Woman when he's defending Chris O'Donnell's character at the school. (Does this have to be theater or can it be from a movie?) Of course, he's playing a blind character, so you would also have to pretend to be blind.

As for comedy, I don't have the slightest clue.

I've yet to meet a 'great actor' who calls himself a great actor.

How can we possibly tell you without any details. What age range? What period? What style? Length? For what are you auditioning? What have you already done?

How is it a 'great actor' doesn't already have a myriad of monologues?

Hapgood really pegged you didn't he? I was going to say exactly the same thing he said, you are no actor and you certainly are only great in ego.

Agreed.

Your no ''great'' actor if your caught up in your own ego.
