Yeah. How can you not understand that? Or can you 'n you just want our opinion? Either way it makes perfect sense, except I don't get why you added that last part to your question...? Oh well...

Yes, but the grammar is a bit awkward...

"On the path we go, for it lures us" is more correct and less muddied with little, insignificant syllables.
