what would be the best temperature to keep home warm but also save energy during night. ( in F).and do u make ur toddler wearing shoes in the winter at home?

65 degrees at night; 70 during the day (& a little one should ALWAYS wear at LEAST socks, around the house in the Winter).

To save energy, first make sure your thermostat can be programmed, set it at 65 or 67 at night, if you are home during the day 67-69 should be plenty warm. The main thing is to leave the temperature set, do not be turning the thermostat up and down.

Your little one should have socks on their feet, especially during the winter months. You can put shoes or footie's on them if you feel their feet may still be cold with only the socks.

i assume you mean in florida. set it at 65 for night time
