There are some good places in Fort Collins (Front Range Tattoo), Loveland (Lady on the Lake), Longmont and Boulder, I know nothing personally about Denver! Sorry.

I wish I could give you suggestions for Denver - but we're up in Longmont and go to Main Street Tattoo. Your best bet is to go in a check out several shops. Price range - my philosophy is to shop for the artist, not the price. We pay $100/hour which I do believe is pretty standard.
