This series is just further proof - along with the last 2 ALCS - that the AL Central is the dominant division in baseball and that payroll and success are not directly related. Some East Coast teams might want to pick up on that little tidbit.

Because they are a great team and can comeback. If you can recall, which team was it that came back from down 3-0 in the series? The Redsox of course. Plenty of teams have come back from 3-1, IF it gets that bad.
Besides, anyone who calls themself a fan would not give up on their team especially at this point.
Here's a question for you. Why do you think they can't comeback?

Because we have a good team. INdians are good, but Sox will win this series. Wakefield looks better than I thought he would tonight. Well, he just gave up a home run. I do think the series will go a full seven games. You will see Beckett again. I'm not sure either Indians or Sox can beat the Rockies - they look unstoppable.

Seriously, why would anyone ask such a stupid question.
Maybe they think they can win because they are a good team and finished with the best record in baseball (tied w/ Cleveland).
If anything, why does cleveland think they can win? They haven't won a world series since 1948.
And by they way, did that bet you lose involve you kissing the Indians asses, or is it that your Tigers failed so miserably, that you've jumped ship and jumped on the Indian's bandwagon?

Because they're ignorant and think their team is a baseball god, when really they're a bunch of selfish losers who can't handle to lose, even though they've been doing just that for decades in a row.
