does anyone know the percent ratio of wholesale compared to retail prices for items, like say i wanted to buy something for 200.00, what would it be wholesale?

If you know what the item costs you, use the reciprocal of 100 to obtain you markup. As an example the item is $200.00 and you want to mark it up 35%, $200.00 x 65%=$170.00, 40% multiply by 70%, 45% multiply by 55% etc. Add the shipping (or freight charges) to the retail price normally can't absorb this cost.

usually a store gets around 33% over wholesale when they sell it at retail price..... so if you bought something that was worth 200 dollars you would get it at wholesale ( the 200 dollar price) and resell it at retail for 33% more .... and make about 266.00
