I try to treat all answers equally. On many occasions, however, only contacts have answered--and all with good answers. That's when I run into a problem in choosing.

Too be completely honest, it depends. If it is a toss up between a few people who gave the same answer, I'll go with my contact. Or, if I didn't get a lot of answers or I got a log of the same.
Otherwise I'll give it to the person who truly gave the best answer.

I have already made a contact mad at me because I didn't pic that person as best answer.. I actually try to pic the best. To the best of my ability... If I'm stumped I then check the thumbs up/down and go from there...

I think my contacts know what I want, if I am being frivolous or serious and answer appropriately, so I would be incline that way, but if someone else comes along with something better I will select them.

Equally! I may give a slight edge to a contact from time to time, if it's a toss up. But, otherwise I don't.
