The entire Pacific ocean is ringed with active fault lines which form the so-called "Ring of Fire". Every time one of these fault lines slips, there is a tremor and this happens quite regularly.

The west coast of Canada, especially the southern part of it, borders a fault, or tectonic seam, known as the Casdcadian Subduction Zone. This is a very active area and will one day have a major slippage that will send seismic-generated tidal waves and tsunamis all the way across the ocean. It will not be pretty and it will happen.

Canada isn't cool sufficient to have Earthquakes. i think of it relatively is to do with the way the fault lines run. there's a fault line in California and one that runs off the West coast of the U. S.. It veers removed from Canada extremely nonetheless and heads right this moment to Alaska, that's in all danger the clarification the quakes are not felt in Canada.

The west coast of Canada is part of the "ring of fire" around the Pacific Plate, where most of the volcanos of the world reside, and where most of the earthquakes occur.
