I once did a biography on Indra K. Nooyi, the CEO of Pepsico. She is an amazing woman, and one of the first female CEOs of a major corporation. She is a great example of a woman who immigrated here from a foreign country and then used her brains and determination to rise up to a position of influence. She is in many ways, a strong role model for other women to follow. I won't tell you more, but if you do some research on her, you will find plenty of pictures and information.

To do a powerpoint biography, here are some good tips...

Do some research on the Internet by using Google or another search engine and search specifically for images of that person. Then, on each slide, add a picture of him or her. But, very important, when you copy the picture, make sure you copy the URL (website address) so you can cite the picture for your bibliography. Make sure that you add the citation on anything y ou used to gain information on your person.

Start with a title page with a great picture of that person. Put their name and a catchy title of why this person is so interesting. For Indra, I put something like "Indra Nooyi: a woman who has made a mark in a corporation"

The next page could be a listing of the 4-8 key points you will bring up about that person, with another picture.

Then give a page on their childhood.

Then on their post-highschool education

Then on some key accomplishments

Then add some key reasons why you like that person and why they were interesting.

Make sure you add a relevant picture in each slide.

For the slides, there is a selection where you can add a picture and bullet points.

Stay with the same background that is not too busy, so that the pictures don't blend in.

Use bullet points that give short statements about the person.

Then finish with a slide with your citations.

Marie Curie (discovery of radium), Nicholas Copernicus (the guy who propesed that the planets revolve around the sun... I personally enjoy doing him for biographies), and philosophers.... but all of these are dead, if you need modern day ones, then you could do someone that influenes many people like Hilary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, a celebrity or singer, Bill Gates, etc.

O! A really good one would be Steve Irwin. It would be very interesting.

You need to do it on someone who is really well known and has an interesting life. Hugh Heffner would be interesting but not for school lol. Maybe someone like Michael Jackson, Drew Barrymore, John F Kennedy, George Bush, David Beckham, Tom Cruise!!! Just a few ideas

First google them. Next, click on what seems to be the best TWO sites (always have at least 2). If you are not sure about the data they give you, then check other sites.
