No, he's 'stalling' for more time in the senate.

Personally, I saw this as a desperate attempt to save his reputation. I can't imagine that a member of Congress would have such coincidental 'bad luck' to have allegations of his homosexuality continue through much of his career - and then to have the further 'bad luck' to be wrongly accused and arrested in a public men's room where he 'just happened' to be in the stall next to an undercover police officer. It just seems implausible to me.

It sounds to me like this has been a pattern of his life for years and years and years - and this time he got caught. What is disturbing is that this man is possibly a pervert and yets serves as a 'family values' member of Congress.

If Craig is, indeed, homosexual or bisexual, that's his business as long as he keeps it private - otherwise, he should 'come out' and admit it and ask forgiveness from his constituents for his gross hypocrisy.

It's not so much the 'fact' of his sexual persuasion...it's the 'act' of his perversion that bothers me.
