Here's some steps to makinh it big, remember it takes awhile!
1. Do school plays, community theatre, sing in choir, take acting classes at school, etc.
2. A year or so after that, after building a reputable name in the community, do local print work or commercials.
3. Once you have commercials or print work circulating, build up a resume, and get some good pictures of you (headshots are good, but not a necessity at this point), and send them out to local talent agencies.

4. In 4-6 if the agency is interested, they will contact you, go in for your meeting/audition, hopefully you will then be signed.
5. Then you can do bigger things like regional/national commercials & print work, and possibly small roles in film or television.
6. Build yourself up doing work like this, until you get bigger roles in more high profile projects.
7. Once you have a name in the business, you should be able to switch agencies to one of the bigger ones like CAA, William Morris, Abrams Artist, etc.
8. Work on major motion pictures and television series, and Ta-Da! You're a star.
Good Luck!

First of all I would take some acting classes you have not already. And maybe an audition class. I found this helped me alot. Next step is to get an agent. This will be difficult but you will probably have to audition for them. Once they take you on you will need a head shot.
Now is the difficult part. Getting work. Take anything you can get even if it is just an extra. I have been in 12 plays since grade 4 (so in 8 years) I have been an extra 2 times and had 2 auditions. On my third audition I got the part ( 1 line but thats okay. It is a movie). They said they were impressed with my resume. So take everything you can get. It will take time. And you may have to go to 30 auditions before you get a part. Usually though you do not have to audition to be and extra.
Good luck out there!

ok im 14 too and I've been actinf since I was about 7months. I've been in spy kids and britney spears music videos. I know the buisness kind of well. First thing you want to do is take some acting classes or join theater arts at school. second thing you want to do is get a professional headshot done. this is just a photo of you face. look natural and get it in color. then send this headshot out to talent agencies. they'll find you and ask you to audition to be in there agency. when they do so prepare two monologues. one dramatic and one comedy.
hope i helped!

Go to some auditions. Perhaps you must get an agent first to know where the auditions are.
Obviously, girls your age cannot be expected to have lots of experience in the craft, or education in theater arts. It's based on your screen test and your look.

Enroll in an acting class in the city where you live and audition for plays at your school.
