b=ax solve for x... is it b/a =x? ..that ones the simplest one.. the more comlpexed ones i dont get... like F=mv2/r solve for r i dont really get... can you explain? [[[[ / = over.. not divide.. sorry]]

heres more ?'s

F = mv^2 /r
Fr = mv^2
r = mv^2 /F

d = rt
r = d/t

I =Prt
P = I/(rt)

m = x+ y/2
m-x = y/2
y = 2m-2x

F=mv2/r
By cross multiplication, you will get:
Fr = mv2
Divide both sides of the equation by F:
r = mv2/F

d=rt solve for r
This is as simple as the one you answered correctly (b=ax)
Simply divide both terms by t (so, only r is left on the right side)
d/t = r

I=Prt solve for P
Divide both sides of the equation by rt:
I/rt = P

and

m=x+y/2 solve for y
Cross multiply:
2m = x + y
Subtract x to both sides of the equation.
2m - x = y

With equations you do the same thing to both sides.
So: "b = ax" to get x alone, divide by a "b/a = x"
Thus: "d = rt" to get r alone, divide by t "d/t = r"
And: "I = Prt" to get P alone, divide by rt "I/rt = P"
The last one has 2 moves; subtract x to isolate y,
"m - x = y/2" then multiply by 2 to get y "2(m-x) = y"

b=ax you would do b/a=ax/a leaving you with b/a=x. The as would cancel each other out. For F=mv2/r you would multiply by the recipricol.
