Well that depends...I wouldn't call a doctor or take anything yet. How do you feel? Any signs of infection. Your temperature could be up if you took right after having a warm drink or smoking a cigarette. The body also raises the temperature in order to kill bacteria and viruses which have a low tolerance for body temps above 99-100F. If you have no symptoms don't sweat it. I wouldn't Tylenol or ibuprofen unless your temp went up to 101F. My general advice would be to take it easy tonight, drink plenty of fluids (dehydration can cause temperature elevation) and recheck the temperature in 4 hours or when you wake. Take something to lover the temp only if it gets to !)!f, and if it stays up call your doctor in the morning.

Depending one how old you are and the symptoms you are having. If it's an adult .....Call your doctor if the fever rises or lasts more than three days with no other obvious symptoms, such as pain when urinating, pain or swelling in or near the testicles, abdominal pain, a stiff neck, a rash, trouble breathing or a sever soar throat. Obvious symptoms call or go to dr. as soon as possible.
