we have an assignment due, and our question is:
does the mass of gum chance after it's been chewed? (winter fresh, juicy-fruit gum, the stick-bar gum, etc.)

wouldn't the mass be more because of the added saliva? help please!

I would think it goes down due to the loss of sugar.
