i am a Victorian based fan of the eagles football club. right from the start i have told many people he should not have returned to play this year because he was not completely off the drugs like he claimed he was. you cannot go to a rehab and then come home and say i am ready to play, it does not work that way, you have to go to your meetings, you cant turn around and say i am off the drugs. the drugs have not left your system in the amount of time he has been out of rehab and back in Australia. it takes longer. he should not have come back and played till at least next year. i do not feel sorry for him i feel sorry for the club who stood by him and tried to help him. he has disgraced the club who were behind him. but the people i feel sorry for are his fans.

wceagles .. While i can never be mistaken for an Eagles supporter .. I gotta feel for you.. you weren't blind to his faults.. and you tried to say the right things BY the Club ... NOT the personality .. YOU deserve better as a supporter of the club...

A bloody fool and a let down to fans. It makes you wonder how someone could be so stupid to do it again... I actually didn't think he would after his come back, but he just did. Great, now we've only got Kerr left.

a talented and brilliant footballer but obviously a very troubled person who needs to take himself away from football and get himself physically and mentally healthy. For his sake, not for the club, the AFL or the fans.

A Letdown.A Great specimen of a man over taken by the dark side{drugs].I am a massive fan of this guy and rate him very highly,but even I am now running out of patience.Sack him,get him the help he needs and get him out of WA.Best of luck Benny...........

A waste of space and if the West Coast Eagles had any brains at all they will sack him, puting a bad name on our great game of AFL

going to have a good career overshadowed by controversy.
I dont support the Eagles, however this is another career that will fail in comparison to the controversy of his private life.
Such a shame that his career looks like ending in this manner.
