More freakin job hunting -- I was laid off 7 weeks ago and never been out of work so long in my entire life (and I'm 49).....

I am a retired teacher employed as a substitute teacher in a metropolitan school district. Tomorrow, I will be substituting as a Computer/Tech teacher in a middle school.

Get up at 4am, work from 6am-2pm. Pick up one kid from daycare by 2:30pm, then then other kid from school at 3:50pm. Go home, make dinner, dishes, laundry, homework, housework, baths, lunches, play with the kids for a minute and off to bed by 9:30pm.

I have the day off of work, so I plan on doing some shopping and then meet my friends later on for dinner and drinks

Well after working for 8 hours at my job, I will come home...relax for maybe an hour and then cook dinner, clean the kitchen and do laundry...then I'll be so pooped I'll probably collapse into bed.

I am going to work for the second to the last day as a massage therapist!!! I am 6 months pregnant and stopping work to be a stay-at-home mom. I can't wait!
