im on it now, have been for about 6 months, and im just getting out of a really bad depression spell (i also have depression and anxiety and am on meds for those) and my friend mentioned that when she was on depo, she was extremely moody, and i thought maybe that had something to do with how i've been feeling.

What is Provera (medroxyprogesterone)?
Medroxyprogesterone is a progestin (a form of progesterone), a female hormone that helps regulate ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary) and menstrual periods.
Medroxyprogesterone is used to treat conditions such as absent or irregular menstrual periods, or abnormal uterine bleeding. Medroxyprogesterone is also used to decrease the risk of endometrial hyperplasia (a condition that may lead to uterine cancer) while taking estrogens.

Yea i would get off it if i were you. The shot really increases depression so yea get off it. I saw his girl who went suicidal when she was on it. But she didnt kill herself so dat was happy!

absolutely!!!!! i was a completely b**** the entire time i was on depo provera. when i wasn't crying, i was yelling at somebody.
