Apparently they have placed the dog in yet another home.

It's so sad. In my opinion, this "rescue" group has gone from dog rescuer to dog victimizer.

Despite the fact that Ellen was wrong in not notifying them, the dog had a good home where he was bonded with the family. They even have a Maltese he played with. Taking him away was spiteful and just wrong.

These people have crossed the line from do gooders to fanatics and should get out of the rescue business.

I saw another interview with a woman who said these same people "kidnapped" her dog back after she adopted it. She eventually got the dog back but said this rescuer has gone over the edge.

I read in the news this morning that the agency is adamant about not returning the dog, despite the threats. I don't think the agency is wrong about enforcing the rules, and I'm sure Ellen feels bad. I would like to see the dog go back to the family it bonded with, but I understand about the rules. I am stunned by the agency receiving death threats. Are people such big fans of these celebrities that they are willing to commit crimes???? This is scary!!!

No, the shelters policy doesn't adopt to families with kids under 14....from what I read, they have no intention of returning that dog to them. The shelter has received numerous bomb threats etc......it will hurt their business in the end.

Well, I guess after reading the article, rules are rules.
However, I am waiting for people to say it's all because
of Bush that all the people in the world are going crazy
and sending death threats.
C'Ya.
