I fell through our barn floor, fell 10-12 feet onto the concrete floor of my husbands shop on the lower level. Luckily, I only broke my shoulder. They did surgery and put in an 8 inch rod and bolts through my shoulder and arm. I was in the hospital for a week.
This happened this past Spring. I just finished PT. I have about 80-90% mobility back. How about you?

I broke my leg....4 times.
Evidentally my parents have secretly despised that leg since I was 13.
Mom:"Oh, Get Over It!"
Dad borrows ancient wooden no-pad unfitted crutches in a week or so.Hurt more than the leg.Yrs Later I Discover that It WAS busted. So, it keeps busting.I finally realized I wasn't a wimp the third time...I was uninsured. Now I have arthritis in my young hips, one leg shorter than the other, one ankle crushing into itself, and a sorta sinking feeling.
The sinking Feeling? Heartcrushing?
That stems from worst injury I've ever 'sustained': My beautiful cat, who knew when a leg was broken, went searching for me in Texas while I was in Kansas stranded by a relative who asked for my help here while I was recuperating there.I drove a stick all the way here to watch her steal my money and take my place in Texas. She lost my best friend and never told me.It was a year until I found out .Loss and Betrayal. Those Two Will Drive You To Your Knees. If You Don't Know That Yet, I Hope You Never Do.

Broken arm just below the shoulder. Wouldn't have been so bad, but they had to re break it a week later and I was in traction for a long time with it.

2 surgery's. many years apart. both different. First one they really didn't know what the heck they were doing. I flat lined. yup! ended up in a coma. came out of it. had to learn everything all over again. last yr. again surgery but this time was a unauthorized surgery. Yup ended up in a coma, I think because my body was in shock, what the hel*! are they doing to me while I was under. totally crazy. It's kind of like the people who get struck by lighting twice or more. creepy!!!!

I'm pretty lucky... I haven't had a lot of painful injuries. But when I was little I got my head gashed open right by my eye by the end of a rocking chair when I fell down. It was pretty nasty.

When I was a freshman in high school, we were playing baseball and a girl was up to bat and she threw the bat after she hit the ball and it flew right at me and hit me right on the head. Ouch! Til this day, that spot on my head is still sensitive.
