Birth Control is great at what it's designed for, but Do Not forget about STD's. Birth Control wouldn't be a bad idea as a back-up. You shouldn't use it as an excuse to not use condoms. Guys don't always have symptoms when they have STD's, so they may give it to you before he even knows. Sometimes girls don't know either, until they have a pap smear. I don't want to lecture you, but abstinence is also very respectable. I can't imagine a girl saying "Man I wish I hadn't waited to have sex." or "Man I wish I'd been more promiscuous in high school." Just be smart. You won't regret it.

Only if you really think it for you. Dont do it just b/c other ppl have told you.
Get on birth control only is you really feel that it'll help you out on ur periods and if your gonna become sexually active.
If you plan on becoming sexually active then YES get on birth control, we cant have babies havin babies. And high five for being responsible!!!!

If you are or planning on having sex yes. If you have horrible periods yes. Don't feel pressured into doing anything that you don't feel comfortable doing.

If you are having sex, then it is a no brainer. DON'T COUNT ON SOMEONE ELSE, and you should always make sure it is "covered up" even if you are taking something.
