as well? What would you attribute this to?

I am guilty as charged on this one too. I have seen spirits, ghosts and UFO's, but I always found that to be a bit odd......

It is not that I really want to, it is just the way it has always been for me. This is just as much a part of my life as drinking my morning coffee or the undying thirst to read books and learn. It comes very naturally to me.

Two possible answers. One is that certain people have an emotional need to believe in the paranormal so they are able to conjure up the various paranormal experiences.
The other is that certain people are sensitive to the paranormal .....that it a skill or faculty that one must have in order to experience things from "the other side".
Either way, it tends to lump the two together.

I have to say if you are that type of person that have a wide range of thought process like why am i here? what is my purpose in life? and think out side of the box with a purpose to solve what ever it is. From how to solve a math problem to how to multitask, then you have that extra gift of perception and you are more open to your total surrounding. Remember not every ones mental psychic is on the same wave as others. Some refuse to see what really is. What I mean by that is we as individuals don't want to except what really is, and that is we are unique in every aspect of the universe. We are not the only organic living things around this universe. After someone dye the organic part of the body is still is plan view. The electricity that had help run the body is now gone. Where do you think it's going or staying. Your psychic is more aware about the energy you can't explain. But you feel it and it is strong. Just remember Our surrounding is filled with an abundant of electricity of different frequencies. You have to figure out what you are tuned into and don't be scared. The energy from the UFO you experienced was on your wave link at that present moment and time, energy travels no matter what type it is. Plan and simple your brain is using a bit more of it's capabilities with out your controlled focus. This is your aggravation. Your not crazy. Just in touch with life and it's mystical surrounding.

I have seen a ufo only once, and it made me very nervous,
It was ages away and was just this big ball of perfect white, very bright and it was 5 in the morning, when i first looked at it i thought it was a plane, but it kinda wasn't moving and there were no flashing lights at that point i wasn't even thinking ufo i mean as if!! anyway watched for a while and this thing was not moving, and all of a sudden this thing just dropped and gone. ssssooooo i went back inside and shut the curtains and peeked out every now and again, never saw that again but threw me for a six,

Well, it could be that they are seeing what they want or wish to see. Or...
They are open to the paranormal and strange occurrences so they see them more easily.
Some scientist believe that the Native Americans didn't see the ship sails of the European ships because they just couldn't comprehend what they were because they've never seen them before.
Maybe people who aren't open to strange things happening just cant see strange things or just don't notice them, whereas people who are more open experience the paranormal quite frequently no matter what the situation is. Kind of like when your vocabulary broadens you become more aware of words being used that you thought you've never heard before. I'm still not sure what I believe but this might be an answer.

I'm simply not sure this is true in the majority of cases.
Yes there are people that have seen both but there are also people, including myself, that have seen one but not the other.
Where did you get this information?

My guess would be that certain people are observant of their surroundings which would let them identify these things if they were present. If you're not looking at the sky you're unlikely to see a UFO.

I have seen a few spirits and had experiences. I also know others that have had far more experiences than me. I nor them have EVER had anything to do with UFO's. I would not lump the 2 together.

I have never heard this. I have experiences with the paranormal and never seen a ufo. If they do perhaps it is just that they have open minds!

Maybe because we are always looking. I have been into photography and art as far back as I can remember, I'm always looking at stuff to get ideas. I look at clouds, sunsets, trees and the mountains to see how light and colors play together. I find that artists all see things differently. Are you an art person too?

Personally, I would attribute it to a willingness to accept unidentified observations as evidence of pre-existing beliefs without the need or perhaps the desire to investigate them further. I suspect there is a correlation in the willingness to believe in spirits despite hard evidence with the willingness to believe in alien visitation without hard evidence. Very often, however, a little sleuthing will reveal the actual identity of a UFO or the actual cause of a mysterious sight or sound.

I don't know..but sometimes I wonder if it's spirits or telepathy coming from the space ships or other planets. (Now I REALLY sound like a space cadet!!lol) o well.....
I'm going to ask a question so you maybe will tell us your ufo experience. I'd REALLY like to hear it. So far, you seem to be an intelligent person..so I'd like to hear about it. I've never seen one (well,my son said we did years ago..but I don't remember seeing it). I already have PTSD & panic attacks...they probably know better than to land in my front yard!! lol
