A rectangle has length of 7 centimeters and width 4 centimeters. What fraction of the perimerter, in simplest form, is the width??

P = 2L + 2W = 14 + 8 = 22. So w/P = 4/22 = 2/11

To find the perimeter add the sides 7 + 7+ 4+ 4.
Your width is 4 cm.
The answer will be
4/perimeter
Then put the fraction in it's simplest form.
