Well of course it's in Israel's "best interest" to have an incapacitated Iran. The poster who mentioned Lieberman begging for war with Iran is 100% correct; after all, Lieberman and many others in power have dual Israeli/American citizenship. Since these people are supposedly representing US, the American people, I find this reprehensible.
Does anyone think the Iranian people think any more of Bush than most American do of A-Jad? I personally am more nervous about Bush having his itchy little thumb on the button.
Not to mention...where's the objection to Israel's having nuclear weapons? The Israelis sure don't have a very good track record where peacekeeping efforts are concerned!

Hey Pimf, that's one of the best questions I have seen on here in a long time. Yep it's really good, now can I have the 10 points? Naw just kidding.
Here's the deal. You got two factions over there in religion. One faction believes the preaches should run stuff and the other believes something different. The one faction is real radical, they say the Shiites. This fellow in Iran's group believes this child fell in a well and is going to come out of the well and set things straight and they want to speed this up. No joke. Now all the honkeys, Hebrew folks and Arab folks (about 90%) feel the same way that these guys are like nuts and act like the church in Europe in the 1500s.
I have a partner whose dad is the big shot up in the northwest corner of the Caspian sea in Iran and he said the Shah and these new dudes don't bother him, but they have a screw loose. That Iraq/Iran thing cost millions of lives and was stupid and the great U.N. really did it's job.
Now if Saddam had had a nuclear bomb he could have subdued the Persians and not much anybody could have done.
So you mention the Christians and Jews, but you need to throw just about everybody in the mix, excluding the Russians as Stalin murdered over 50 million of them and that sorta puts a damper on free speech. The Arabs cannot speak out, but check your history on this with countries like Saudia Arabia and the rest. Most are not radical and are "just trying to get along".
Another thing is that they do supply rockets to the bad guys over there. What's real bad is that the U.S. pressures Israel to give up land and everytime something bad happens to us. Like when they gave up Gaza (where the rockets are being fired from now) that giant wind torn up the gulf coast. Two weeks later when Israel pulled out of the assigned West Bank settlements Texas got hit by Rita.. THE SAME DAY ON BOTH. Many books on this.
So check it out and see if even the countries around them are not happy. That is a very rich country and no reason for those people to suffer.
Got to admit you did so good research, so please look this stuff up, somebody needs to know what's going on. Also nobody cared about the area Israel is on now, it was a waste land. The Balfour declaration actually gave Israel also the country of Jordan, but England ended up giving it to a cousin of the head dude in Saudia Arabia. There are also 2 million plus Arabs living in Israel, so they probably don't want them to have a bomb either. Scope it out. Take care.
One other thing I finally saw "cavemen" and it s--ks. I think the guys on the insurance commercials would be better and maybe some of us should hire them and make a show called Caveguys. Cause they ruined that idea. i asked this question last week and got the same answer it was no good.

Now, now. Let's see. Okay, so Chinese occupy most of this world because of their population, even though Indians are catching up. So if you select a random group of people from the world (from all over the world, all different places), wouldn't the Chinese stand out more too? So, you do not judge something like this by a group of people, or by ANY category at all! It is simply the individual's opinion, and their influence from others around them. The more they have of that group, the more LIKELY they'll agree with that group, but it isn't a cause an effect, but simply a correlation. Set religion aside or you will be forever blind. The media loves company, and people around you(even your FAMILY MEMBERS) all have their own views, right? But they're still influenced by others, and maybe even pressured or brainwashed into believing certain things, like how they make it seem like we're in war just because we don't want communism to spread. That's BS right there. The major profit behind war is capital. They don't care if they lose lives to obtain all they can get. Have an open mind. Respect others' opinions, but always know the FACTS and interpret with your own mind, and yours alone. Period.

Neither. Demographically, the United States is majority Christian. This does not mean that it is a "Christian nation" in the same sense that some countries are "Muslim nations". We are not a theocracy. By the way, you can be a Zionist without being a Jew; the two terms aren't dependent upon each other. And how about a citation or two about how "Jews own a larger share of the U.S."?

At the most basic level it a case of "our team versus their team." This religious feuding has been going on since history was first recorded. It's sad, all three are of course based on the same principles, however its the details that cause the hate. Well, I wish the answer was that simple.

People believe that Iran is making nuclear bombs. America has never had great relations with Iran either so both are good points to attack. Some people believe it is for oil and others think it is to free the people from the government. You'll just have to decide for yourself.

All these people have an agenda. Lieberman's agenda is to protect Israel. Lieberman is one person on your list that has been hawking the wars in the middle east since 9/11. He is doing everything in his power to protect Israel. If he lived in Israel, I would find no fault in his position, BUT, he is an American! As an American, America should come first! I feel he could care less about the American troops being killed in Iraq or anywhere else that has to do with the protection of Israel. Listen to him talk. Look at his voting record. He is as bad as McCain. I hope the people of Connecticut vote this man out of office.

Most Americans are either Christian or Jewish. Therefore it makes sense that most Americans who want to bomb Iran are either Christian or Jewish. I do not see a conspiracy here.
