It depends on where you live or what you are doing. Anything concerning science (like a class) generally requires using Celcius or Kelvin degrees. Most of the world uses Celcius degrees except the USA and some other hold outs.

It dosen't matter which one you use, but they are different numbers.In farenheight the freezing point is 32 and Celciouls is 0 degress. boiling in farenheight is 212, and celcious is 100 degress.

most people use degrees celsiuse because it's easy just 0 degrees for freezing and 100 degrees for boiling
