everyone on here thinks being nice is important. but most of the time there not telling the truth. so you tell me, is lying to the person while being "nice" considered nice? pretty much being "nice" and telling the truth are the same.
im not saying that you cant "tell the truth", nicely though.

Both are equally important ...do unto others that which you would have them do unto you.
its not what you say but how you say it....its called constructive criticism
there are times when situations/people make it almost impossible...that is about the time I turn the other cheek and keep on walking...no point in lowering self to their standards or being a masochist or a martyr either.
We are all entitled to an opinion be it wrong or right in others eyes. It is how we express it which determines the way it is perceived.

Why should they be mutually exclusive? How about being right, but not necessarily talking about it in order to be nice?
There's a difference between being right and being sure everyone knows you're right!
