The reason I'm asking is i have an animation that's made to have a white background and i want to change it's background to black. And the part I want to change is the same on every fame so I'm looking for an editor that will let me just change one frame and apply the changes to all of the frames.

Animation Shop was part of Paint Shop Pro. I recently bought an old version of Paint Shop Pro and when I was looking for updates, I ran across the full version of Animation Shop 3 in an old ftp site. I'm pretty sure it's not suppose to be in there since it is not a free program, but I downloaded it and it works so....

Here download gimp and open up the animated gif. Every frame will be will be a different layer in the program.

If you can get ahold of Adobe Photoshop, it comes with a program called ImageReady that allows creation / editing of a gif with multiple frames that you can change one frame (or more) and save it.
