When I lived in Michigan, you could smell the chemicals before you could take a sip, though it was pretty clear, when you looked at it in a tall glass.

Worst I've seen and tasted was in San Franciso, when you held it up in a tall plain glass, there was all kinds of detris (particlates) floating in the water & it tasted like swimming pool water {bleh!!},...

Every time I move into a new place, I realize that I forgot to take the last water filter system I installed in my old place.
So I have to get a new filter system for my new place.

Not sure why. Good plan not transferring the systems from one location to another. Buying new each time is smart.

It relies upon on the place you reside and what form of water source. u . s . a . people like myself that stay out interior the sticks don't have city water, it rather is not any longer an selection. we've nicely water. I water pump equipment pumps the water up from the floor and purifies it for you, and it rather is risk-free to drink. I wouldnt drink city water nonetheless.

Lake Michigan Water is Great but San Fran water might need to be purifeid of salt. Go Blue

What you are tasting is chlorine, which is what keeps us from becoming very ill with a variety of water-borne diseases. I would rather deal with the slight chemical smell/taste than dye from a parasite that eats me from the inside out.
