If global warming is a hoax, you should have an easy time answering my question:

To answer your question, scientists have concluded that global warming affects the intensity of hurricanes, but not the frequency with which they form:
http://www.livescience.com/environment/ap_050731_hurricanes_stronger.html
You can have 0 hurricanes or 50 hurricanes - global warming won't have any effect on that. But once they form, they will on average be more intense due to global warming.

What are you complainers paid professionals of the oil industry?
Get on here make a statement to regulate public opinion. If it isn't warming and no hurricanes are coming, what do you care? Really?! You're doofuses. Why don't you go in to literary criticism or something like that? You're paid to come on here and be Heckel and Jeckyl. High fives. You're brilliant. Go read a book or do something constructive with your life instead of sitting around here trying to bait an argument about an issue you don't give a crap about anyway. That's what I believe. Why don't you tell us cigarettes are healthy for us. Maybe you can get some money from Brown & Williams for your support; or are you going to tell me you're not paid. You just kiss hiney for free because it's what you spend 9 to 5 doing anyway. YAY! for you. Maybe you got some slick analysis of the latest wwe bout and how Vince Mchahon is doing after his limo blew up. That's the crowd that follows you probably, so why hit them all up with this global warming crap? Maybe start with the wwe and then once you've suckered them in you can feed them your latest droll comments about how the earth is actually cooling down. It's what I have been hearing on the nightly news now for probably 17 yrs. That the earth is actually getting colder and those dummy scientists who say otherwise are just that, dummies looking for attention wherever they can get it. The scientific community calls them renegades and try to cover up their phony data, but you know how liberal the media is. They just splat anything out their for ratings. So now the Nobel prize committee has had to follow suit and it's all just a big fashion show "the Nobels" anymore. Really they're forced to accept the data of "hoaxers" because of the pressure of public opinion on the committee. Gore has been warned if he doesn't drop 30 pounds his credibility as a clarion call of seductive science is in serious jeopardy and they will ban him from speaking on their behalf. They've got standards to maintain and an "image" now that they are in serious jeopardy of injuring with his "bloated" non-Hollywood image.
Long gone are the days of "hard science." It's all splash and glamour to feed the growing sensation of scientists being the chic trend setters. They're so sexy! They'll probably put that 90 year old guy on the cover of Rolling Stone. All science is now conducted in the blogosphere! Hurray! a triumph for the masses and our future well being!

Good question. There is no reliability in the weather forecasters now than there was 10 years ago. Oh they got all kinds of sexy satellite scanners and probes and ultrasound and light sensors and God knows what else, but the best they can do is speculate and project.
All boiled down they are pretty good at predicting (once the storm actually is born) the direction of travel and projected paths for up to 5 or 6 days, but as far as predicting the number or the frequency of the storms......Nah.. they don't have a clue.

They say it is because strong winds over the Sahara Desert, has blown to much dust into the upper atmosphere.
All this dust has blocked or filtered the global warming effect of the Sun in the Atlantic, off the coast of Western Africa.
Sea temperatures, remained cooler and the birth of tropical storms limited
Without this natural occurrence the East Coast of America now in the start of a Severe drought.

This year? THIS YEAR?
Even NOAA predicted that there would be 'More and larger' storms hitting the US.
Here's an interesting fact that they forgot to mention.
There is no such thing as a storm larger than a CAT 5 which is what Katrina was.
Several things would have to change to make that happen. The size and density of the earth, it's relationship to the sun and moon and the depth of the oceans would all have to change in order for that to happen. If any of that happened, we would all be DEAD.
Setting that little detail aside; Since Katrina, there has been only ONE named storm to hit the US mainland and it's Hurricane status only lasted four hours.
Katrina was over TWO years ago.

Remember when they had to cancel a "summit" on the phoney crap they are spreading due to a blizzard? That was great, and yet there are still people that hold that nut up on a pedestal. They guy has made a living lately on a theory. Gotta give him credit for doing so well, with the internet, and all that too. Plus all the weather stations that he uses for data, get this, a great number of them are on roofs, next to ac units, and etc. check out my linkhttp://www.norcalblogs.com/watts/weather_stations/
the weather collectors are biased even.

Actually, the guy that does the hurricane predicting for the US and has "promised" so many hurricanes this year has said that he does not feel that global warming is what is causing the increase in hurricanes.
Sorry to burst your smog loving propaganda crap.
Even Faux News told the truth on this one

It's the pits ain't it? No hurricanes...no drought in the southwest, no flooding in the northeast, no melting of ice caps in the polar regions, (have you heard, there IS a northwest passage now), no wind storms in Europe, the Sahara Desert is growing by 2,500 square miles a week, the northern part of the North American continent is 2 degrees warmer on average than 259 years ago, the tropical Ice caps are disappearing, the ocean level is rising...when the water washes over your bed, call "Flush Bimbough" and he'll tell you it's all a myth...you idiot
