While I'm using the internet explorer browser(windows 2000), it always closes suddenly! It happened especially when I was trying to list my selling on ebay...
Is it because of virus?
Are there any other browser I can download for free?

Yes, I agree with the others about firefox, but you might be able to repair IE if you remove flash and shockwave from your system, restart and put new versions back on.
I've seen it before, and it usually falls over when there is some flash elements on the page.
But I'd still use Firefox.

I highly recommend Firefox.

Firefox is better in every way including, installation woes, look and community, tabbed browsing, cool new features, security and performance. The winner is clearly Firefox 2.

Alternate browsers are Opera, Firefox and Netscape, to name a few. You could also check http://update.microsoft.com to see if there are any updates for Internet Explorer if you'd rather not change browser.

Windows 2000 is pretty old and MS stopped supporting updates for it which will cause all sorts of weirdness.
I do suggest downloading FireFox and see if that helps.
