LAPTOP not powering on?

my laptop was shut down by the lid being closed and now i cant get it to power back up. I also found a penny:( in one of the drives any advice please help

Hold the power button down for 5-7 seconds. That will shut it all the way down. Then power it back up normally.

Try pressing the power button about
6, or 9 times. Not too fast. It might be
hibernating.
