Mine was a small cabin in North GA and there was a tornado in view. No animal noises, no noise whatsoever except that wind...very creepy.

An abandoned house. I camped out there with a friend when I was 16 and in the middle of the night some weirdos came in to do drugs or whatever. Thank God they never came upstairs, where we were. I suppose they were street people. Yes,it was creepy. Very. They didn't leave until almost dawn.

A crack cabin in Hawaii. I'm not kidding, my friends rented it sight unseen. We found a crack pipe in it and it was freaking filthy. We only stayed the night because we didn't have a choice. We were left there to clean while the others went to register their car for the Drag Races for that night and the next.(4th of July) We were on a Mt.,a really secluded area. Very scary.

When I was young, my family used to go on vacation at Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. One year we were there, during our first day there, we had a standalone cabin, which gave visitors more privacy than the attached cabins. This cabin was infested with insects, and early in the evening that first day, when I was alone in the cabin, they started coming out from what seemed like everywhere. I tried to tell my parents, who were at a lecture, but at first they didn't listen, and sent me back to the cabin. After another 10-15 minutes (but it seemed like forever) I broke down and went back to them, telling them I couldn't stay in there. They came back to the cabin, saw I wasn't exaggerating, and got us a new cabin.
