I just went over there and there are no paranormal questions.
It is just here
I thought it was all mixed in together over there the way everyone went on about it.
I guess that solves that dilemma.
Now if the battle keeps up, at least we all will know there is actually a choice of the two sections, Science and mathematics OR paranormal.

OK, I did check on this and at the time the last Alternative question had been posted 42 minutes ago. When I went to the Science & Math category alone I did find the question. However, the question was on page 14. So, the questions do pop up in Science & Math but among many, many, many other questions in that section that have nothing to do with anything Alternative.
Obviously it is a persons individual choice if they choose to click on one question among many to answer.
For my part I have no issue with that. My issue is the arguing and complaining which is done with rude and insulting behavior while not providing answers.
They have stated their motives very clearly they want us (people that do not share their beliefs) and this section removed from the Science & Math category. Since Yahoo will not grant them their wish they harrass people in this section and many have left and others warn people "this is probably the worst place to get an answer to your question"
Please fight back: when an answer is both not helpful and insulting click on the Report It button without hesitation or apology.
Also, please take the time to read the answers and give a thumbs down when you think it appropriate.
That's just how I see it.

If you understood anything about scientific classification you would understand why "Alternative" is a subsection of "Science & Mathematics". It really isn't that difficult to understand, but I'll try to create an example:
I. Animals
A. Reptiles
B. Mammals
C. Amphibians
and so on...
In this classification system reptiles are animals because they are a subdivision of animals. Alternative is a subsection of Science and Math. I hate to sound old here, but what are they teaching you kids in schools these days?
No one here is arguing or complaining. If you are too sensitive to go out in public then perhaps you should find another place to answer questions. I have posted several suggestions.
Sorry for being a smarty pants, but perhaps you should visit the English and spelling section.

I clicked on the Science & Math category, scrolled down, and found this very question.
That's because this sub-category is in the Science & Math parent category.
In fact, the only reason I stumbled upon the Alternative sub-categories in the first place is because they do appear smack-dab in the listing that you get when you click on Science & Mathematics. Go ahead, give it a try. Find the current latest question in the Alternative category and then click on Science & Mathematics and look for it. You'll find it.
That pretty much clinches it, wouldn't you say? :)
Talk about simple-minded :)

Anyone else think we're getting a little silly here? We must all like something about this section or we wouldn't be here! Me, I'm embarking on a major reading project. I promise my next question or answer will not include the word section or skeptic. Nothing but love for you all.
