There is no greater gift you can give someone than the chance for life. My husband was a donor and countless people are living better lives because of him. I even know a few of the people personally now and they are all dear friends of mine. Immoral, Jax? No. How could it possibly be immoral to give life to others? As others have said, when you die, you won't have need of them, so why not give them to someone who will? AND....what if YOU were the one needing an organ? Wouldn't you want that chance? Organ donors are not plentiful. Many, many people die while waiting for a transplant. And yes. I am a donor too.

Shamefully I admit I am not. However, I am thinking of it seriously. I admit that I felt that if I were a donor, my life would not be saved in the event of an accident and an organ was needed. BUT, thinking it through, God is in control and I should be a donor and do trust in the Lord. It will be in His will. So, good question, got me thinking again on this subject and nudge me to do something about this.

No, and I'll tell you why. There is a lot of money in organ harvesting, and if for some reason I am severely injured, I want them to save me. If they see I'm an organ donor, they will be more than happy to let me die and cash in on my parts.
I would rather donate an organ like a kidney, bone marrow, blood, or part of a liver, while I am alive.

Good for you---I think everyone should! :) After all, what will we need them for if we're dead?
My family is authorized to donate every single piece of me that's viable in the event of my death. (I'm a smoker though, don't know if anyone will want my lungs!) And if there's anything left, it's to be cremated.
To me, this is such a no-brainer. Do people really need to keep all those good parts to themselves just so they can look great laying in their coffins? There is so much need for those struggling to live, and we can make a HUGE difference if we can all decide to be a little bit selfless.

Yeah. I got a little red sticker on my driver's license that says, "ORGAN DONOR." I don't know how many of them will worth donating, but hey, if they think they can use 'em... they're free to take 'em.
Except my boobs. Those are going with me to the grave.

I am a donor and so are all of my family members. I have an aunt and an uncle who both received full heart transplants. I cannot express how important organ donation is. DEFINITELY DONATE!

I am an organ donor. They can have all of me. Whatever is still of use is donated. I will not be needing it anymore.

No, I am NOT an organ donor. And the reason is for them to take your organ/s you MUST be alive. SOOOOOO, if they take an organ that means your NOT DEAD. BUT you WILL be when they're done. So I'll pass. I'm keeping mine.
