We won't leave Iraq. We were put there to have a startegic military presence in the Middle East. I don't believe any of the front runners will get us out. In their minds this is the best for U.S. interests. On the other side of this we went in and smashed their country to bits. Took it down to bare bones. I don't see how we can leave. None of this should have taken place. It has and now we have to deal with it. Will our leaving stop terrorism? Doubtful.

Should we leave Iraq? YES ASAP
If we do, what do you think the second and third order effects will be? spat of violence then it will settle down, and take it's inevitable course.
Do you believe that withdrawal from Iraq will end terrorism? NO it was never about terrorism that was spin after the WMD and all the other BS reasons fell flat.
Do you know what a Caliphate is? Yes, whats your point do you?

The only terrorism in Iraq is what we have allowed. Republicans are still trying to connect Bin Laden with Saddam. Saddam had nothing to do with the World Trade Center. We should leave Iraq and use the military to find Bin Laden. I wish Bush put the effort he put into getting Saddam as getting the real person who was responsible for the World Trade Center. What the Republicans did was create a situation in where the US has to commit troops to the effort because we cannot control the situation in Iraq. Maybe we should do what Saddam did? He ran a secular nation without any of these problems.

The first thing to do is to turn finding a solution over to a world party. We cannot fully leave until their citizens have at least the law and order they had before our arrival.
The invasion of Iraq only fueled terrorism. Terrorism is the result of injustice, which the war certainly was.

When Hillary becomes president, she will avail herself of all the details that are not available to her now, she will weigh all the options then & I'm sure she will make the right decision. Just hope & pray that in the meantime, the but-head presently in office doesn't decide to attack Iran.
