PROBLEM 1:
No one has realized that all the other numbers have a 6 in the tens place. The one that doesn't belong is 36.

PROBLEM 2:
1 Quarter (25 cents)
2 Dimes (20 cents)
2 Nickels (10 cents)
45 Pennies (45 cents)

or
2 Dimes (20 cents)
8 Nickels (40 cents)
40 Pennies (40 cents)

PROBLEM 3:
Polygon (e.g. "Polly gone!")

PROBLEM 4:

The only way to get a carry of a 3-digit plus a 2-digit number is B = 9... and then H will be 1 (the carry). The only choice for E is 0, so:

. 990
. +10
-------
1000

To
make a dollar using 50 coins.... you have to use pennies. The number of pennies must end in 0 or 5.
35 is too few pennies. If the other 15 coins were nickels, the total would be $1.10.
50 is too many pennies. The total is $0.50.
So the only possible solutions have 40 or 45 pennies.
40 pennies and 10 nickels comes up to $0.90.
So we need another $0.10.
40 pennies and 8 nickels and 2 dimes comes up to $1.00.

The solution for 45 pennies is just as easy to find.

BB0
+ H0
--------
H000

adding a 2 digit number to a 3 digit number yields a 4 digit number, by inspection H can only be 1

(the rest is plug and play)
