Except for the city state of Pergamum, which is in what is now Turkey, and whose king left the city to the senate of Rome as an inheritance:

Every country: Britain (except Scotland); Gaul (which is now France, Belgium, and half the Netherlands); Spain and Portugal; North Africa from what is now Morrocco to Egypt; all of Europe south of the Rhine and Danube rivers; all the near east, including what is now Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Israel, and Armenia to the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in the east.
