Looks like homework to me. Unfortunately, asking someone to do your homework doesn't seem to be a violation of community standards.

In any case, you can solve the problem as follows:
2^(x-1) = 64
x-1 = 6
x = 7

Take the ln of each side

so (x-1)ln 2 = ln 64

x-1 = 6

x=7

x-1 log 2 = log 64
x-1 = log64/log 2
x -1 = 6
x = 7

64 is 2^6, so
2^(x-1) = 2^6
x-1 = 6
x = 7

(x-1)log2 = log 46
x - 1 = log 46/log 2
x = log 46/2 + 1

I hope that this is correct.
