Political experience alone Obama is the most inexperienced, Hillary have been first lady of Arkansas and of course, first lady of the U.S.A. when her husband was president. Even as a senator, Hillary has more experience. The only way the Republicans will win the next presidential is for them to $BUY it again for the 3rd time with the help of the religions they duped the first and second time around.

All the candidates running for the Presidency of America are qualified per the constitution. When selecting a leader, I look at the person's character and total life/career experience (i.e. is the person likable, honest, intelligent and etc). Looking at the Democratic Nomination presently, I like Obama and Richardson. Obama has grassroots experience as a community organizer in Chicago as well as state legislator experience (8 years) with some notable accomplishments (not to mention his 3 years of US Senate experience). Hillary on the other has only 7 years US senate experience with mostly meager accomplishments (check her senate record). Her experience as 1st Lady of Arkansas and 1st Lady of the White House, don't count.

I'm amazed at how many times I come across other Americans that see Hillary's experience as 1st Lady as legitimate political experience. She has exposure not experience.

Who Republicans nominate is hard to tell. Even though Guiliani has qualities that make him more electable in a general election, the Republican base are not Guiliani fans. Depending on how well Fred Thompson performs over the next 2 months, he could over take Romney and McClain.

Obama lacks experience. Hillary likes socialism, communism and total government control over all citizens. So these two , needs not to be elected.
As for as a favorite at this time regarding Republican nominee, it is not time yet to decide, but I will at the right time.
Not saying if I am Democrat or Republican, but I will say that Obama can not compare to Guliani as for experience, even though I do not care for Guliani, I have to admit the truth here.

Between the two, Hilary. Obama lacks experience. On the republican side, its a tough call, but I wouldn't put my money on Guliani getting nominated.

"Qualified" is a problematic term. I remember Ross Perot in 1992 comparing Bill Clinton unfavorably to Sam Walton: "Just because you've owned the general store doesn't mean you're able to run Walmart." Whatever your feelings about Clinton, it was clear he was more than up to the job of the President.

In terms of experience, conversely, perhaps the best qualified candidate ever to run was George Bush I. He had served in more posts, elected and unelected, than any other in American history. His presidency, in retrospect, was nominal (although I have to say he was a far more accomplished President than his son).

So I think a better question to ask is what disqualifies Obama or Clinton or anyone else from the Presidency. In that context, I don't really see anything major from any of the major candidates from either party from running.

Cheers.

I am a McCain supporter and admittedly I decide on Obama to Hillary. That lady is Teddy Kennedy in drag. If Obama is elected it could no longer be well however no less than it could no longer be the top of the arena.

All the people you mention were born in the U.S. and are over 35, that makes them qualified. But I don't think Hillary or B.O. would be good choices. Giuliani has actually run a large government, so he is the most experienced and seems to have the most moderate policies of the entire bunch.

Hillary is going to win by a landslide. She's leaving all the others behind. Giuliani is a joke!
