The original was a movie that you really really enjoyed but the sequel was painfully disappointing and you left feeling like you were robbed of the price of admission.

I'd have to agree with every answer so far.
Caddyshack was probably the best golf movie ever, yet Caddyshack 2 was probably the worst golf movie ever.
The Hills have eyes was awesome and the sequel should have been better but it really chewed.
I'm gonna add City Slickers 2 to the list. the first one was seriously hilarious. and the second was just plain stupid.
There aren't many sequels that were better than the original or even as good. (godfather 2 and terminator 2 in my opinion are exceptions)
