Again? I never did believe what Rush had to say. He doesn't give a thought to how much damage he does with his exaggerations and twisted story telling. He is responsible for half of the ignorant comments you hear directed at the liberals and even centrist population of this country. He is becoming dangerous calling democrats traitors who side with the terrorists. He is causing suspicion and anxiety at a time when there is plenty of that going around anyway.

The so-called right/hate talk radio is commentary - not newscasts. It is simply the opinion of the commentator.
Unlike factual news, you are free to agree or disagree with the commentator - or turn him off, for that matter. Unfortunately, words can be very powerful - and there will always be the segment of the population who take anything they say as valid and verifiable proof if it happens to agree with their own philosophy.
Whenever I happen to catch one of these talk shows (not very often) I take it with a grain of salt. Sometimes I even find their views somewhat entertaining - in the sense that perhaps they have lost their grip on reality.

One side to the freedom of speech: Even people with whom you disagree are allowed to speak their piece.
I also disagree with him/his whole genre, but to deny him his rights would mean that America is nothing more than what a few people want. And if we did that, then people with whom we do agree with would also not be allowed to share what they think.
