Dems never fail to run from a fight with Bush. I think this is laughable to see them talk tough on TV then run and hide form the big bad Bush.

This ridiculous bill has resulted in the likely passage by the Turkey parliament to allow Turkish troops to invade northern Iraq and fight the Kurdish rebels. It has also strained American relations with Turkey and may well culminate in the loss of our troop supply routes into Iraq.
It was a very dangerous and foolhardy initiative - and hopefully, even the democrats will realize this in time.

well there is no sense in labeling them guilty of genocide,the Turks are about to prove to the world that they want to wipe out Kurds. when Clinton asked the repubs to drop it,they did. Does that make repubs spineless too

I think Congress has more important issues to deal with rather than voting on something that occured in the Ottoman Empire.
We have children without Health Care and a slew of other issues surrounding the Iraq war, we have the unlawful wiretap issues to resolve.
